“Albuquerque has more than 22,000 STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) jobs that offer a median salary of nearly $82,000, which puts the city at No. 4 on 10 Best Cities for STEM workers in 2018 by Livability. The national average wage for all STEM occupations was nearly $88,000, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics.”
